The opportunity to study in Holland on a fully funded scholarship is available to all countries worldwide except those in the EU/EEA area. Here is all the information you need about the Maastricht University Scholarships 2024 for International Students in Holland.

In conjunction with Dutch and the University of Applied Sciences, the scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. This scholarship is intended to support high achievers who want to pursue a Master’s Degree at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.ย 

In order to be eligible for a full scholarship at Maastricht University, applicants must apply for a full-time program, and 24 scholarships are awarded annually. In terms of scholarships, there are two types; High Potential Scholarships awarded to applicants with excellent academic records, and Holland Scholarships awarded to students who need assistance with their financial needs.

Eligibility Requirements for Maastricht University Scholarships 2024 Holland

For Maastricht University Scholarships 2024, the following criteria must be met by applicants in order to be considered for the scholarship;

  • Applicants must be international students outside the EU/EEA region without EU/non-EEA passports.
  • All applicants must have graduated from a university outside the Netherlands with a Bachelor’s degree
  • They must meet the Departmental requirements for their specific Master’s program or proof of English language proficiency.
  • The applicant must have received an unconditional letter of admission or meet the requirements for admission to UM’s for their course of study.
  • Scholarships are available only to students enrolling in a full-time master’s degree program at Maastricht University.
  • You must not have participated in a Degree Seeking Program in the Netherlands, but you are welcome to participate in an exchange program.
  • As of 1st September 2023, applicants must not be older than 35.
  • It is not permissible for applicants to hold dual citizenship
  • We will give preference to applicants who are among the top 5% of the 2023-2024 scholarship program applicants in terms of transcripts and certified letters of academic excellence.
