The Korea Youth Summit 2026, hosted by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation, is now accepting applications for its second edition. This fully funded international youth summit in Korea brings together young changemakers from around the world to explore how cultural heritage and modern leadership can weave together for sustainable impact. The summit, themed “Empowering Youth Through Cultural Synergy” with the tagline “Living Culture, Lasting Legacy”, is set to take place in Seoul from February 2–5, 2026.

Over four dynamic days, delegates will dive into inspiring programs such as the Global Networking Forum, International Youth Summit, Cultural Sustainability Ideathon, Leadership Development Workshops, and much more. Each activity is geared toward crafting real solutions at the intersection of culture and global challenges. Participants will also benefit from panel discussions, cultural performances, and awarding ceremonies honoring great ideas—from Best Project to Best Cultural Content.

As a fully funded youth leadership platform, KYS 2026 covers registration, round-trip airfare (conditions apply), meals, airport assistance, and provides certificates and media exposure for award winners. With open eligibility for international applicants aged 15–40, regardless of academic background or nationality—and no TOEFL/IELTS requirement—it’s one of the most accessible and enriching cultural exchange events for global youth in 2026.

Who Can Apply?

The Korea Youth Summit 2026 is open to:

  • Individuals aged 15–40 years old
  • Applicants of all nationalities and educational backgrounds
  • Youth with no criminal record
  • Candidates not affiliated with extremist organizations
  • No IELTS or TOEFL is required
  • Youth who is passionate about culture and want to get their culture recognized in the global stage

Important Information for Applicants:

  • Registration Fee: A registration fee is required for all participants and is non-refundable. Kindly read and acknowledge all information in the guideline before registering.
  • Selection Process for Fully Funded Participants: Candidates must complete forms and essays. Eligible applicants will be invited to an interview session. Please check the guideline for the detailed timeline.
  • Acceptance Letters:
    • Fully Funded Candidates will receive their Letter of Acceptance 10 days after the registration period closes.
    • Self-Funded Candidates will receive their Letter of Acceptance approximately 7 business days after submitting their application.
  • Fully Funded Program: The airplane ticket is covered through a reimbursement system. Participants must complete the program in full to claim the reimbursement.
