Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) has officially announced the opening of registration for the Middle East Youth Summit 2026, an international gathering of Muslim youth scheduled to take place on March 30 – April 2, 2026, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Carrying the theme “Global Muslim Youth Collaboration for Sustainable Development,” the summit aims to bring together young Muslims from around the world to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and collaborate on initiatives aligned with global development goals.

MEYS is recognized as one of YBB’s flagship international programs and continues to promote the spirit of #TogetherforUmmah, combining Islamic values with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will work in multicultural groups to develop social impact projects related to SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 10, SDG 16, and SDG 17. All details are posted below.

YBB is an international youth organization that creates and leads global leadership platforms such as the Japan Youth Summit, Korea Youth Summit, World Youth Festival, Youth Academic Forum, and Youth Leader Camp.

A Growing Platform for Muslim Youth Leadership:

With enhancements to program structure and registration systems, MEYS 2026 aims to strengthen opportunities for global Muslim youth to build professional portfolios while deepening their connection to faith-based values.

A Program Combining Leadership, Global Networking, and Spiritual Enrichment

The four-day event features a combination of symposium sessions, leadership workshops, cultural exchange, and spiritual experience through the opportunity to perform Umrah. Activities include panel discussions with experts, mentoring, project presentations, and an awarding ceremony recognizing outstanding delegates.

Award categories include Best Project, Best Group, Best Participant, and Best Presenter (Male & Female), with winners receiving certificates, medals, and recognition across MEYS platforms.

Registration Schemes and Eligibility:

The program is open to Muslim youth aged 15–40 from all nationalities and academic backgrounds, with basic English communication recommended. Delegates under 18 are advised to travel with a guardian.

Fully Funded Scheme

  • Essay and interview required
  • Competitive selection
  • Participants pay first before reimbursement
  • Eligible for moderation roles

Self-Funded Scheme

  • No essay
  • No interview
  • No social campaign requirements
  • Automatically available to those not selected as fully funded
